Larry and Christine have been with us since 2014. They manage local leasing, tenant concerns, site security, and all maintenance at the Royal Alexander Apartments.
Les Sloan Caretaker – Mackenzie Town Centre, and The Evergreen Centre, Mackenzie, BC
Les Sloan is a long time resident of Mackenzie and has raised three children here. He oversees the maintenance, custodial services, tenancy improvements & local leasing enquiries for both the Evergreen and the Town Centre.Les has served as a volunteer on many local Mackenzie committees and clubs over the last 30 years. In his (not so spare) spare time Les renovates and restores residential houses in Canada for fun and profit and travels abroad with his wife Kathy. During their travels the Sloans renovate homes for needy families in the Dominican Republic. They have three children and 3 grandchildren.

Mel McCutcheonCaretaker – Fort St. James Shopping Centre, Ft. St. James, BCOriginally born and raised in Nova Scotia, Mel and her family have resided in Fort St. James since 2007. Mel oversees general maintenance, custodial services & local leasing inquiries for Ydenberg Properties Ltd. at Fort St. James Shopping Centre.
After over three years of working with the District of Fort St. James and running her small business, Bare Hands Landscaping & Design, Mel has extensive knowledge of the local industry and businesses, and the people, community, and it’s culture. Her landscaping business offers installations, maintenance and design services locally and her 12+ years experience providing contract services for small residential clients and large commercial projects, compliments her caretaker position at the Shopping Centre. Mel continues her education annually through the University of Guelph with a focus on sustainable urban horticulture, and puts her knowledge to practice daily on her very own off-grid acreage just outside of town. Mel is very passionate about the arts, and enjoys performing music, dance, theatre as well as Aerial and Circus disciplines.
